Major disruption to water supply in Swords

Householders and businesses in the Swords area of Dublin are facing disruption to their water supply today.
Fingal County Council says there's been a "major burst" on a watermain on the Forest Road this morning.
The council says it will affect many consumers in the immediate area, and the supply could now be cut off for between six and eight hours.
The council says static tankers are in place in the Ridgewood and Boroimhe estates to provide drinking water.
Investigations into the cause of the problem are continuing.
