Gardaí investigate attempted abduction of young girl

Gardaí are today investigating an attempted abduction in Ferbane, Co Offaly.

The incident occurred at approx 8.30pm last night at Moyclare, Ferbane, when a girl in her early teens was cycling her bicycle between her own house and that of a friend's.
