Union to meet American Airlines bosses after job losses announced

The Communications Workers Union is to meet management at American Airlines after it was announced the airline is to close its reservations office in Dublin with the loss of 130 jobs.

Last night the airline said it had made significant losses in recent years.

American Airlines is intending to outsource the work currently handled by the Dublin call centre, which it said would produce significant savings.
