Man due in court in connection with dissident republican activity

A man in his 50s is due in court this evening, in connection with dissident republican activity.

He was one of ten men arrested by Gardaí in the Balbriggan area of County Dublin last Thursday evening.

Another man was remanded in custody after appearing in court on Sunday.

While the eight others, who range in age from their mid 20s to their 40s, have been released without charge.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
