Taoiseach praise outstanding Clarke

The Taoiseach has congratulated Northern Irish golfer Darren Clarke following his Open Championship victory today.

Enda Kenny has described the win at Royal St George's as an outstanding achievement.

The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport has also sent his congratulations to Clarke.

Leo Varadkar called it "a wonderful success" and said it was a pleasure to see yet another Irish victory in a significant golf tournament.
