Donegal: Search for teen postponed due to low tide

The search for a missing teenager off the coast of Donegal has been called off for a few hours because of low tide.

It is due to recommence later this afternoon.

It is understood a 17-year-old boy from Derry was with a group of friends swimming near Rathmullen pier when he got into difficulty at around 1.30am today.

The Coastguard helicopter, lifeboat and gardaí are all involved in the search operation.

The search operation will recommence at around 1.30pm today.
