Fitzgerald: Of 15 Cloyne abuse complaints, only six reported to gardaí

Children's Minister Frances Fitzgerald has said that the Cloyne abuse report reveals that, in the 12 years between 1996 and 2008, nine out of 15 complaints of abuse which should have been reported to gardaí, were not reported.

"That’s very nearly two thirds of complaints un-reported, un-investigated and un-prosecuted," she said, at the publication of the report today.
