Government disappointed by Moody's downgrade

The Department of Finance has said that it is disappointed at the decision of the ratings agency Moody's to downgrade Ireland's credit rating to junk status.

The Agency said last night that Ireland may need a second bailout in 2013 when the current support programme from the EU and the IMF runs out.
