Galway mayor in Norris u-turn

Galway's Fine Gael mayor has said that her vote blocking presidential hopeful David Norris from addressing the City Council was a "misunderstanding".

Senator Norris was yesterday prevented from addressing the council as part of his bid to secure the backing of four local authorities in his run for the Áras.
