Three new academic partners are to join with The Nutrition and Health Foundation for a debate on Ireland's obesity epidemic.

Trinity College Dublin, Waterford Institute of Technology and St. Patrick’s College of Education are the latest institutions to join the NHF’s multi-stakeholder forum.

It is part of an information gathering and analysis exercise of the problems caused by inactivity which, the NHF says, cost the country €1.6bn a year.
