Crowds gather for Donegal Twelfth parade
Large crowds have gathered in Rossnowlagh in Co Donegal this afternoon for the annual Twelfth of July parade.
Around 50 lodges from Donegal, Cavan, Leitrim and Monaghan, as well as visiting Orangemen will take part in today's event.
The parade, including various pipe and flute bands, will make its way to the demonstration field, on the edge of the shoreline in Rossnowlagh where a religious service will take place at 3pm.
There are 44 Orange Halls in Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan and Leitrim and the Orange Order has members in nine counties.
Meanwhile gardaí say a traffic management plan is in place to deal with the large volume of traffic expected.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
