SIPTU seek meeting with nursing home management after closure
SIPTU is requesting an urgent meeting with management at Creevelea Nursing Home in Laytown, County Meath.
The union wants to discuss staff redundancies at the facility after it announced its closure on Monday.
Creevelea was forced to shut after HIQA raised concerns over the standard of care at the facility.
SIPTU Assistant Organiser, Damien Ginley said he wishes to discuss a number of industrial relations concerns including the minimum notice period given to staff and their redundancy terms.
