An Irish dancing teacher who was found to have abused a former pupil in the 1980s has lost a High Court bid to stop his name from being published.

An Irish dancing teacher who was found to have abused a former pupil in the 1980s has lost a High Court bid to stop his name from being published.

However, the court has agreed not to release his name until later this afternoon to allow his lawyers time to make a last ditch effort in the Supreme Court to keep his identity hidden.
