Jury members must be able to avail of support services after taking part in distressing trials, according to Support After Crime Services.

An organisation that provides services to people affected by crime is calling for the establishment of a similar service for jurors.

Sally Hanlon, Director of Services of Support After Crime Services which launched a new website today, said many jury members are left scarred by the details of violent criminal cases.
