Aer Lingus passengers are being urged to dig deep for Africa.

Cabin crew at the former flag carrier have teamed up with Unicef Ireland to appeal for donations over the next two weeks.

It is aimed at tackling the escalating humanitarian crisis in East Africa where nearly two million children are at risk of death and disease because of severe drought, conflict and escalating food prices in the region.
