INMO: 'Truly shocking' trolley figures rise 20% in a year
The group representing nurses and midwives has said more than 46,000 people had to spend time on a trolley after being admitted to hospital, over the first half of the year.
A comparison of figures from the past five years carried out by the INMO shows that is a 20% increase on the same time last year, and a 37% jump on the 2006 figure.
