A man has admitted to carrying out a €1.2m jewellery heist at Dundrum shopping centre in Dublin on the fifth day of his trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A Dublin man has admitted to carrying out a €1.2m jewellery heist at Dundrum shopping centre on the fifth day of his trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Ian Maloney (aged 24) of Cashel Road in Crumlin, had pleaded not guilty to robbery and possession of two firearms at Paul Sheeran Jewellers in the shopping centre on September 3, 2008.
