New Citywest Luas line to open

The new Citywest Luas line in Dublin opens today, with services starting at 12 noon.

The 4km stretch runs off the Red line at Belgard to Saggart in west Co Dublin.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar will take the Red Line for its first trip to Fortunestown.

Birmingham City and Ireland midfielder Keith Fahey, who comes from Tallaght, will also attend the event at midday.
