No jail for teen who threatened to rape garda

A 17-year-old boy, who attacked a garda and threatened to rape her, has escaped a custodial sentence.

The teenager had pleaded not guilty to assault causing harm to the garda and violent behaviour at a north Dublin Garda station on November 14, 2009 and threatening to cause harm to the officer, on November 19, 2009.
