Gardaí release boy without charge in rape investigation

A 14-year-old boy has been released without charge after being questioned over the alleged rape of a schoolgirl in Dublin.

A 14-year-old boy has been released without charge after being questioned over the alleged rape of a schoolgirl in Dublin.

The teenagers had been out celebrating the end of the Junior Cert exams at the Tramco nightclub in Rathmines on Thursday night.

The boy was arrested at the scene and taken to Terenure garda station.

Gardaí said he was released without charge last night and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
