HIQA report aims to improve patient access to consultants

New recommendations to help shorten waiting times for patients in need of GP referrals to consultants are to be published today.

The Health Information and Quality Authority is to issue a major report today identifying how to improve access for patients to consultant-led outpatient clinics.
