The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has denied that the Government attempted to keep secret information about the impact of the government's private pensions levy.

The Dáil has been told today that Mr Kenny was warned by his Social Protection Minister Joan Burton that the levy could have a negative effect on private pension funds, forcing some of them to close.
