Wicklow County Council is due to appear before Bray District Court this morning, on charges arising from the deaths of two firemen.

Wicklow County Council is due to appear before Bray District Court this morning, on charges arising from the deaths of two firemen.

Mark O'Shaughnessy and Brian Murray were killed as they tackled a blaze at a disused warehouse on the lower Dargle road in Bray, almost four years ago, on September 26, 2007.

The County Council is facing four charges in relation to safety issues, including the failure to ensure proper training in relation to the use of equipment used to fight the fatal fire.
