Limerick gardaí seek road accident witness

Gardaí are anxious to speak to a young man who provided assistance to the victim of a fatal road crash in Co Limerick minutes prior to the accident on Friday night.

French national Patrice Mahu, 54, who had been living in Limerick, died after he was hit by a car on the hard shoulder of the N21 Limerick to Adare Road near Monearla around 6.10pm in the evening.
