Members of the Green Party are today gathering in Dublin for the group's first annual convention since its disastrous performance in the General Election, when all sitting TDs lost their seats.
New leader Eamon Ryan will give his inaugural speech, after taking over from John Gormley at the helm of the party.
A new deputy leader will also be named. Those is the running are former Councillor Catherine Martin, former Senator Mark Dearey and Northern Ireland green activist John Barry.
There will also be a talk from Swedish MP Agneta Borjesson, who will describe how the Swedish Green Party clawed its way back from electoral wipe-out after its first period in power.
