Trade union accepts invitation to renew Aer Lingus talks
IALPA, the pilots branch of IMPACT trade union, has accepted an invitation to resume talks at the Labour Relations Commission.
The talks, over a dispute at Aer Lingus, will get underway at 7pm this evening, after the Commission issued an invitation this afternoon.
Strike action is currently scheduled to begin on Tuesday, in a row over rostering at the airline.
Talks between management and pilots broke down at the LRC in the early hours of yesterday morning and calls have since been made by both Government Ministers and industry chiefs for negotiations to re-commence.
