Gardaí name victim of fatal assault in Co Monaghan

Gardaí in Carrickmacross in Co. Monaghan have named the victim of a vicious assault in the town last night.

The victim has been named locally as Gavin O'Connor, Ballynaclose, Kilmainhamwood, on the Cavan, Meath border.
