Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Kildare crash

Gardaí in Co. Kildare are appealing for witnesses to a car crash which has left one man fighting for his life in hospital.

The single-vehicle collision occurred last night, just after midnight, at Wolfestown, Eadestown, near Naas.

A 21-year-old man, who was a rear seat passenger in the car, was taken to Naas General Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

The driver and front seat passenger, who are both men in their late teens, were also taken to hospital, but their injuries are not said to be life threatening.

The road was closed for a time, but has since re-opened.
