Cyclist dies following Limerick collision

A 39-year-old male cyclist has died after he was hit by a car in Limerick this morning.

The incident occurred at 11.25am on the Ennis Road, Limerick.

The cyclist was seriously injured at the time of the collision and removed to the Mid Western Regional Hospital where he later passed away this afternoon.

The driver of the car was uninjured.
