Sportsman to be sentenced for abusing daughter for four years

A 71-year-old former professional sportsman described as a "monster" is to be sentenced today for repeatedly raping his daughter.

The man - who cannot be named - was convicted by a Central Criminal Court jury last March on 60 counts of sexual abuse and 14 charges of rape between 2002 and 2006.
