Drogheda blaze forces evacuation of residents

Efforts to establish the cause of an overnight fire in Co Louth are getting underway this morning.

The alarm was raised just before 3am this morning when flames were seen at a building on West Street in Drogheda.

Nobody was injured in the blaze but residents in nearby apartments were evacuated as a precaution.
