Man accused of assault and slashing dog with knife

A jury has been sworn in for the trial of a man accused of assaulting another man and slashing the man's dog with a knife in Limerick.

Forty-two-year-old Daniel O'Donoghue of Ardilee, Ballysheedy in Co Limerick has denied the charges at Limerick Circuit Court.
