Cork Airport to carry out internal review after incident

Management at Cork Airport are to carry out an internal review following yesterday's incident in which a man attempted to ram an aeroplane.

A 38-year-old man, believed to be originally from Waterford, is alleged to have slashed a Garda across the face and neck after threatening him at knifepoint and hijacking a garda traffic corps jeep in Cork city yesterday at around 4pm.
