Survey: People want greater penalty for drivers using mobile phones

People want harsher penalties brought in for drivers who use their mobile while behind the wheel, according to a new survey.

The majority of those questioned by AA Roadwatch say a stricter punishment than the current two penalty points and €60 euro fine should be introduced.
