Young girl dies in bouncy castle accident
An eight-year-old girl, who had just made her First Holy Communion, has died in Co Waterford, after an accident involving a bouncy castle, it has emerged.
Gardaí have described the incident as a terrible accident.
This incident happened yesterday evening at around 6pm in Coolnasmear, which is located on the Dungarvan to Clonmel road.
It is understood the little girl had just made her First Holy Communion and was playing on a bouncy castle when it was hit by a gust of wind.
She fell off and hit her head.
She was rushed to Waterford Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí in Co Waterford are investigating the incident which they say was a tragic accident.
