Man questioned in connection with Belfast stabbing

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in north Belfast.

He is being questioned about an incident in a house in the Old Park Avenue area in which a 22-year-old man was injured.

The man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident, which happened around 9.30pm on Saturday, to come forward.
