Gardaí arrest man in Kildare on foot of European arrest warrant

Gardaí working with the Serious Organised Crime Agency in the UK have this evening arrested a man in his 50s in Co Kildare on foot of an European arrest warrant.

The arrest was made in connection with the man's alleged involvement in the importation of controlled drugs into Ireland and the UK.
