Rehn: Bailout interest-rate drop may happen soon

EU commissioner for economic and monetary affairs Olli Rehn has said an agreement on a cut in the bailout interest rates for Ireland could be taken shortly.

Speaking at a press conference in Strasbourg today Olli Rehn said that the Commission had "some time ago" proposed a reduction in the interest rate for Ireland.
