Gardaí believe two men were involved in a gun attack in Dublin which has left a teenager fighting for his life.

The 19-year-old suffered at least one gunshot wound to the head outside his family home on Myra Close in Inchicore at 3pm today.

He was rushed to St James' Hospital and has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

His sister, speaking at the scene of the shooting said: "He just walked out the door and...they just shot him, for nothing.. He done nothing."

The area has been sealed off and is undergoing a forensic examination by a garda technical team. It is believed there nay have been two gunmen involved in the incident."
