Young man 'critically injured' in Inchicore shooting

Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Inchicore in Dublin, in which a young man is understood to have been critically injured.

It is understood the man - in his late teens - suffered at least one gunshot wound to the head at Myra Close off Emmet Road in Inchicore just before 3pm today.

He has been brought to St. James Hospital, where he is understood to be in a critical condition.
