Coast Guard rescue man on Howth Head
A man had to be rescued by the Howth Coast Guard today after getting into difficulty on Howth Head during windy conditions.
The man in his 60s, who was out walking at the time, suffered head, leg and spinal injuries when he fell down a cliff path.
The team descended the cliff and administered medical care to the the man who was semi conscious and in a confused state.
He has been taken to Tallaght General Hospital.
