Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Dublin shooting

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident, which occurred in Dublin overnight.

A man in his 30s was shot in the leg at around 10pm last night at Raheen Drive in Cherry Orchard.

He was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardaí have sealed off the scene for a technical examination.

No arrests have yet been made.
