ASTI General Secretary to address conference

The General Secretary of the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland will use his address at the annual conference today to hightlight the treatment of newly-qualified teachers.

Pat King says new graduates have poor job prospects, while teachers who get work could see their pay reduced by up to 30% compared to their colleagues.
