Glanbia recommends 11% hike in cost of dairy products

We could be paying more for our dairy products in the coming days, after the Glanbia group recommended a price increase of up to 11% on selected items in their range from Sunday.

The company controls brands such as Avonmore, Yoplait and Kilmeaden.

Glanbia said it had been absorbing global cost increases over the last year, but with no price falls in sight, they must now pass these increases on to the consumer.
