Man in court in connection with Kildare drugs seizure

A 41-year-old man has appeared before Dublin District Court in connection with a drug seizure in Co Kildare on Wednesday.

Mark Clarke of Kilmurray, Enfield, Co Kildare was charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply.

He was arrested in Kilmurray on Wednesday after gardai seized heroin and cannabis with an estimated street value of €950,000.

The seizure was part of an ongoing operation into the sale of illegal drugs in the Meath/Kildare area.

He has been released on bail to appear before Naas District Court next Wednesday.
