A 35-year-old man was seriously injured in Dublin early today in an assault at the junction of Goldsmith Street and the North Circular Road.

A 35-year-old man was seriously injured in Dublin early today in an assault at the junction of Goldsmith Street and the North Circular Road.

Gardaí at Mountjoy are investigating the incident, which took place shortly before 1.30am and involved two other men.
