A man has been taken to hospital after he was knocked down in Dublin.

A man has been taken to hospital after he was knocked down in Dublin.

The incident happened on Parnell Road at 1.40am today.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and has been to taken to hospital.

A road closure is in place, and diversions are in operation.
