More than €3.5m worth of cannabis seized in Dublin

Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 20s, in connection with a massive drugs seizure which was made in Dublin yesterday.

Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit seized more than €3.5m worth of cannabis, when it searched a premises on the Malahide Road, in Coolock yesterday afternoon.

Officers discovered 400 kilogrammes of Cannabis Resin, 50 kilogrammes of Cannabis Herb and eight kilogrammes of tablets, which have yet to be idenified and are subject to analysis.

The suspect is currently being detained at Santry Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
