Govt promises to uncover all 'golden handshake' deals
The Government has promised to find out how many senior bankers could walk away with golden handshakes from the taxpayer.
It follows the revelation yesterday that former AIB Chief Colm Doherty left the job last November with a payment of more than €3m.
The Taoiseach told the Dáil that the Finance Minister was investigating any other possible such payments in the State-covered banks.
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams said: "This is happening on your watch…and you need to say here very, very clearly that they will not walk off with these obscene amounts of money."
