The Coach Tourism and Transport Council of Ireland (CTTC) has called on the Government to open up more routes to private bus operators.

The organisation has claimed that opening up the Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann routes and putting the schools transport contract out to tender could save the State up to €80m.
